Online Art Exibition Project.

first stage: UNDERSTANDING.

today Mrs Finnerty will be coming to our lesson so that we could ask her questions about what she would like in it. like how it would like to look like and stuff.

the purpose of this stage is so that both parties, (client and producer) know what is wanted in the end. so the result. get? gets. ;D

we'll be making this exibition work by using wix.com MATE IN ALL SERIOUSNESS. its mad ;D i might use it in the future, like one day to present all my pictures. one day... ;D

anywhoo. interview mode.. on.

1. how much artworks?
could be big. more images = better. though equity issue.

  • wider audience. availbale to more students, parents, friends and teachers. more accesible.
  • advantage of system. quicker to setup. compared to the current exibition, which takes two days to set up.
  • advantage. more space. compared to current exibition, limited space.
  • equity issue in current exibition. artwork placed in particular space on wall.
  • limited display time. current exibition.
  • artwork not be able to be taken home by students.
  • things get lost. current exibition.
  • art works are seen much more clearler on an online point of view.
  • artist name, title of art work, and the materials used. must be placed along with art work.
  • needs to have; workable site easy to manage, so that staff can easily change it; easy navigation for audience to look through (searching, tags, categories); showing year 7-12 artowrks; able to show artwork and artist name, title of artwork and materials used; it need to live within the sharepoint site - password access; archive areas and display areas to suit the changing exibitions (past exibitions and current exibitions. announcements, whats coming next?)
  • ideas; shuffle images backwords and forwards; background images that will enhance the art theme of the site; still material; videos; 3D images for sculptures; outline of the theme of the exibitions (introducton); maybe online student portfolio of their work; collage of thumbnails (navigation).

  • at least six website (different grades)
  • doesnt have to be school colours. though make it relate to students.
