This website was created by Ninoshka D'sa, Vanessa Flores and Prisley Tolentino.
It is an online art gallery which suits the needs and demands of the art department as it contains all the necessary features for a successful online art gallery.
We used WIX.COM to create a modern website filled with a welcome page, a home page, a page for current artworks and an archive page. These pages are just samples and all the other pages that are added to this website will have a similar layout. There is one page per year group to separate the artworks and their theme/topic. To present the current artwork from a year group we used a widget that allows the person to interactively view the artworks; sliding from side to side. Once the image is clicked, it becomes bigger and shows all the necessary information about the artwork including: artwork title, artist and materials etc. The archive is set up so the person can see many photos in one page including previous artworks that are not included in the current page. You can put multiple pages on this archive and once clicked, the image becomes bigger showing details. The home page is where a basic introduction is written explaining how the user would view the website as well as background information about the school's art department. There is a convenient navigation system at the bottom of each page to navigate successfully through pages. The home page is the page that appears once the "continue" button on the welcome page is clicked.
